Dan Rather sues CBS for $70 million
Dan Rather filed a $70 million lawsuit Wednesday against CBS, alleging the network made him a “scapegoat” for a discredited story about President Bush’s National Guard service.

Firstly, I have always enjoyed shows such as 60 minutes and 20-20 (partly blaming the GP tutor who made us stay updated with world news). I did not know about the saga until the public apology was made. At that time, it was rather disappointing. Yet, the suspicion never died. For everything that the corporate senior management has decided on, they will always drag a mattress behind them for safe landing.

Now I need to check for the interview rerun schedule on Larry King Live.

Face of (web)social networking

So I admit. I like Facebook. When Dee first invited me to sign up in June, I did but shrugged it off soon after.

Anyway it is rather exhilarating to see “So&So is now your friend” popping up from the system tray. Hey, I have not met most of them for years. How can I, thus, be blamed for setting the homepage to auto-refresh every minute? So far, I’ve only had dinner with one of them since our reunion on FB. I sure hope this will continue.
